The National Day Organising Committee is organizing training progam for 400 trainees

The National Day Organising Committee is organizing training progam for 400 trainees who will participate in celebration activities of the National Day at Darb Al Saai and at Al Corniche in order to develop their skills and performance.

The training programe is being held in collaboration with a number of training bodies and will continue until next month in the framework of the ongoing preparation to celebrate the National Day 2017 on December 18 to commemorate the founder of the State Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani.
It comes to enhance the value of National Day in the hearts of citizens and to stress the importance of taking responsibility and to improve their skills on how to communicate with people during the National Day activities.

The National Day Organising Committee in coordination with Ministry of Education and Higher Education has adopted the voluntary hours for the students of secondary schools (first and second phase) and the trainees will get 24 training hours before starting Darb Al Saai activities and 16 hours by their participation in Darb Al Saai activities.
The committee has asked a number of trainers and bodies which have vast experience in imparting training to participant and has offered Ali bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena and Al Markhyia Primary Independent School for Girls to organize the training courses.
Aisha Al Mutawa, chairperson of the Training and Development Committee said that the training program being held by the organizing committee will contribute to build abilities and sharpen skills of the trainees.
The training program aims to educate trainees on issues like crowd control, confidence, responsibility, challenges and initiative, in addition to teaching how to deal under work pressures.

The trainees will also get courses in first aid provided by Hamad International Training Center of HMC. When trainees will pass eight hours of training, they will receive international licenses for practicing first aids and that will be valid for two years. The experiences also include courses in crisis-management and fire extinguishing provided by General Directorate of Civil Defense and many other courses in different fields.
