December 18 is the day Qatar remembers how it managed to achieve national unity until the nation stood out. On this day, feelings of love, pride and appreciation are expressed for the wonderful people of Qatar, who took it upon themselves to stand in solidarity, to be loyal and to follow the guidance of their leader Sheikh Jasim b. Hamad b. Mohammed b. Thani.
Several celebrations take place in December to introduce and appreciate the authentic heritage, customs and traditions of the Qatari society and to share sentiments of pride and self-esteem.
