Training programs for participants of the National Day festivities

The National Day Organizing Committee 2018 is currently organizing training programs from October to December, targeting more than 300 of trainees, both male and female.

The training programs include Darb Al Saai and Al Corniche organizing teams, in addition to educational sector.

The programs focus on developing skills and raising the level of performance, providing trainees with new and interactive experiences to achieve quality in dealing with the public.

They also develop a sense of responsibility further enhancing communication among team members that contributes to building skills. Trainees also benefit from these programs in their practical lives.

The programs targeted both new trainees and well-experienced trainees. The courses for the experienced trainees focus on dealing with the public, managing crisis, working under pressure, highlighting the skills of dialogue, persuasion, innovation, protocol and how to deal with official delegations.

For the new trainees, the training programs focus on basic skills in organizing events such as self-confidence, positive control, anger control, problem solving, and dealing with public, especially people with special needs.

The training program also targeted ‘leaderships’ (supervisors) through a program called “vitamins” to provide the participants with the skills of managerial development such as time management, cooperation in the work environment, effective communication, job loyalty, managing a dispute, achieving creativity, solving and dealing with work pressures.

Training programs also provided to all participants trainings on first aid which were provided by the Hamad International Training Center (HITC), as well as a course in crisis management and firefighting which was provided by the General Directorate of Civil Defense.

A number of Qatari trainers with a high-quality experience helped the Organizing Committee to organize such training programs. Also many other entities helped the committee for organizing such courses.

Most of the programs will be held at Ali Bin Hamad,Al Attiya Arena, General Directorate of Civil Defence, and Al Aziziyah Youth Center.

The training programs come in line with the values of the National Day in instilling inspiration and creativity among the organizers, and enhancing the value of participation and benefiting from experience in the field of training and development.

The training programs last year achieved the desired goals through the experiences and skills of the organizers in dealing with the right cases with a sense of responsibility and keen interest to accomplish the tasks assigned to them.
